Phoebe Robinson, star of “2 Dope Queens,” is selling one dope apartment. The two-bedroom unit located in Brooklyn‘s Park Slope neighborhood is now available for $1.75 million.
She purchased the seriously nice place in 2018 for $1,647,376. In September, the apartment landed on the market with an asking price of $1,795,000. With no buyer in sight, the price was sliced by $45,000.
Robinson told Apartment Therapy that she and her boyfriend, known as #BritishBaekoff, fell for a few key features.
“We wanted to have space, we wanted to have a nice view,” she said, “and we wanted it to be cozy, because he travels a lot, and I travel a lot.”
The apartment ticked all those boxes—and offered giant windows that Robinson swooned over.
Fit for a Brooklyn queen
After finding her dream digs, the comedian hired interior designer Karen Asprea, a friend from her Pratt Institute college days, to add custom touches to the light-filled apartment.
The eye-catching result? Muted tones, photos of the band U2 (Robinson admits to being obsessed), and velvet furnishings.
Robinson’s fans will recognize the apartment from her Instagram account. She occasionally posts photos from her plush pink couch.
The corner apartment, spanning 1,139 square feet, offers sun-drenched rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows.
From the foyer, you enter into the loftlike living and dining area.
Just adjacent, an open kitchen serves up walnut cabinetry, a large island, gold quartz countertops, and Miele appliances.
The king-sized primary suite has a walk-in closet, ideal for a fashionista, that is one of Robinson’s favorite things about the place, she told Apartment Therapy.
An ensuite marble bathroom comes with double sinks, a steam shower, and heated floors. The secondary bedroom is in use at the moment as a home office. The second bathroom features a soaking tub.
Other details of the cool crib include custom millwork, 10-foot ceilings, and oak flooring.
Built in 2017, the luxury building offers 24-hour door attendants, on-site parking, bike storage, a gym, and a roof deck.
The multitalented performer is the co-creator and co-host of the “2 Dope Queens” podcast and HBO series, along with Jessica Williams. The entertainer’s comedy special, “Sorry, Harriet Tubman,” can be streamed on HBO.
McKenzie Ryan with Compass holds the listing.
