Ariana Grande Buys Harmonious Home in Hollywood Hills for $13.7M

The pop singer Ariana Grande has recorded a sale of a contemporary mansion in Los Angeles for $13.7 million, Variety reported. 

Along with her chart-topping hits, Grande, 26, seems to have made some shrewd real estate buys. The harmonious Hollywood Hills home, billed as an “incredible value,” was last on the market for $17.5 million. Which means she scored a grand 22% discount.

The star had apparently been on the hunt for a home of her own for a while. For the last few years, the chart-topping star had been leasing a 10,000-square-foot mansion above Beverly Hills.

So for Grande to finally make her move, this sleek space must have hit all the right notes.

Built in 2018, the luxury estate features disappearing walls of glass and smart-home technology, as well as views of the city and ocean. With four bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, it has the mod, boxy look typical of spec homes.

Highlights include a formal dining area, office, and a gourmet chef’s kitchen with a black silk granite island, brass accented cabinets, and Miele appliances. It’s open and adjacent to a family space. 

Pocket doors extend the living area out to the deck, where an infinity-edge pool looks out to the vistas below.

Upstairs, a massive master suite spans the entire top level. The retreat features a walk-in closet, lounges, bath with dual vanities, tub, and a separate glass shower. 

On the lower level, you’ll find a media lounge, a lavish bar, 300-bottle wine cellar, fitness studio, cedar “wellness center,” and guest suites. 

Construction on the home was completed in 2018, but the posh pad had never been lived in. Initially offered two years ago, for $25.5 million, it had bounced on and off the market at various reduced prices.

The tony area is home to such celebs as Leonardo DiCaprio and Keanu Reeves. 

The “Thank U, Next” singer reportedly made another purchase recently, picking up a Tudor-style home in the Central Coast enclave of Montecito, CA, according to the Los Angeles Times. 

Apparently, the performer bought this Santa Barbara County home last month for $6.75 million, from the serial home flipper and daytime talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, the actress Portia de Rossi. 

The picturesque property, newly renovated, features two bedrooms and three bathrooms on over an acre of flowering gardens and mature trees, according to Architectural Digest.

The updated space, known as the “Porter House,” was built from two antique barns imported from England. It has two kitchens, a great room with a fireplace, and an octagonal study lined with casement windows. The space also comes with a gym, workshop, and a three-car garage.

Tomer Fridman, Adam Rosenfeld, and Sally Forster Jones of Compass jointly held the listing for the L.A. home. Aaron Kirman of Compass’ Aaron Kirman Group represented the buyer.
